Default Portrait I shot, titled "The Man"

The Man

I shot this using Canon 50mm 1.4f lens on my Canon 5D mark ii. Do post your honest comments / critical feedback on composition and lighting.

Thx

I think this is great!!
The only thing that bugs me (just nitpicking) is the way the hand looks, it seems to be blurred unnaturally. The light is great though, very even. Even though the left side is very dark, I like the dramatic look Super dooper!

Thank you Viridiana for the comment. Point noted. BTW the hand is not blurred by me, its the lens blur.

it's a great portrait. but the hand bothers me too, not the blur but the way it ends, missing the fingers.

Might I suggest you try this in black and white? I think you'll like what you get.

I think this is a great photo! I would show the fingers on the hand. Something to think about in the future.
