I wish she had feet... That would make it a lot better. If my subject is showing anything below the waist, I usually will keep the feet in. You can always crop later... I don't think it's ever a good idea to cut off the feet when the rest of the body is showing. Other than that, I like the motion of the pic and she has a great expression on her face.

I don't know...
I love the face and expression but there are too much things bothering me: 1. the motion blur - you should have used a faster shutter speed. 2. the shadow - I don't like the shadow going right in the middle. 3, the feet as Lorie mentioned. basically, what I would have done is take the picture from another angle all together: I would take a step to the left and center, catching her at about 45 degrees and go lower with the camera to be at her level. this way you wouldn't have had the shadow on the left side, you would have a smiling face and maybe even some feet ![]() sorry if I'm Incisive... |

thanks for your comments....i kinda like the ray of light going right through her.....she is unbelieveably hard to catch....will not pose....no telling how many pictures i have of the back of her head
...yea, faster shutter speed would have been better, as she was spinning (probably why her feet got chopped)....thanks for the input
