Default Wedding Photo: worth including?

Looking for a little feedback on this photo....a little general impression, but also if it is worthy of placing in the book of photos for the couple. Does it need cropping at the bottom?

what sort of book?

if you fix the WB issue and get rid of the specks of grub on the floor i think its not bad
maybe a bit of noise reduction.

for some reason it doesnt look straight to me... so a straighten and slight crop would do well.

presonally I think you shouldn't put it in the album.
most of the picture is out of focus and that's ok, the problem is that the area which is IN focus isn't interesting enough...

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of it either. I love the idea of a shallow DoF, but the focus doesn't actually focus on anything of interest. My eye keep looking for something to look at..

The thing is, I'm critiquing it from a photographers perspective, not the clients. And, I can imagine the client actually loving this one (unless they are photographers?). If you do include it though, definitely fix the perpendicular lines and the white balance. Or even, have you tried it in b&w? And it definitely needs more contrast in my opinion.

In the end, I'm not really a fan of the image, but I think they may like it. Sorry for maybe making this more confusing of a choice for you haha.

looking at it again.. I think I know what I'm missing: the couple.
I think the photo would have worked if the couple were standing at the end looking at each other holding hands.. right now there is just nothing interesting in the photo, not at the begining nor the end of the lane.

it just doesn't look like a wedding.

sorry.

it's pretty much (once the various rotation, wb and composition issues mentioned above are fixed) just an accent shot, and though not terribly interesting, if placed into a diptych or triptych of other accent/environmental shots of the chucrch may have a home...

...that might be way more work than its worth however. as a stand-alne image, it just doesnt have anything going for it.
