Night portrait.

Took this picture of two of my friends at a bonfire over the weekend. The only light is a floodlight attached to the back of the house. I don't have a specific question. I just want to know how ya'll think it looks and what you would consider I could improve on!

well... try keeping the object in focus
it's a nice shot, just that your eyes are blurry...

Yea it is blurry, shooting at that shutter speed I shouldn't have handheld my camera . Thanks! Does the lighting and composition look good?

the lightning is not very flattering but that wasn't for you to control very much.. it's a hard light.
as for the composition - I would crop it to get rid of all the black around you.. just leave two faces.
that's of course a matter of taste... I like to zoom in and catch the faces.
