Nice use of natural light. Good composition too. Holy freckles!! With the small thumbnail I can't tell but it could be a bit sharper I think. Perhaps a bit brighter. But a wonderful start!

Yep! This is natural light at its best. Wonderful modeling and tonality, great expression and pose. Contrary to what KagoGrl has said, I don't believe the image needs to be any brighter or sharper. Looks good where it is. (Of course, I was able to click on the image and see its larger counterpart.) This reminds me of some busts I have seen where the head of the bust was supported by the hands and except of a bit of the neck, no other body parts are shown. For that reason I am really tempted to tell you to ger rid of the little zipper pull just under the chin. Don't know for sure, just think I would try it to see if I liked it better. I also feel like it is cropped just a bit tight. A bit of breathing room wouldn't hurt and should be easy to remedy.
