Default saturation/constrast?

Diya 5

i was told that the colour of this picture looks 'saturated'. however all i did to it was push the contrast. the colour comes from the gold reflector directly beneath her face. any comments?
also is the hand distracting? the speedlight kind of hit it hard.

Her face looks really really red to me. Even the whites of her eyes have a hint of red/orange in them.

Hello Sham,

This is what I would do -

1. reduce saturation just a bit
2. adjust levels
3. Contrast
4. finally pull the curves a lil

Gold reflect will still look gold and the image not over saturated. But this is just my personal opinion.

Stunning image though.

Cheers

infact I think you can slightly burn the hand as well as it is too bright. the attention will always be drawn to the brightest part in the image

again.. personal opinion
