I took this picture at the 31st Jakarta Highland Gathering, and would like your opinions on the colors and composition, does the cut-off fingers bother you? Any other C&Cs are much appreciated

To be honest, yes it does!
Play with your adjustment layers and also try to remove the red tones from her skin

Gotta keep in mind about that 'cut-off body parts' thing next time i shoot..

actually,if i remembered correctly, her skin was a bit blushing from all those dancing,so i try not to lose all of the reddish tone from her face

The only thing that bugs me about it is the dress. The red is completely blown out. There is no detail left. I quite like the rest of it though.

i like the low angle and the fact that you captured the costume in movement, but it's not the most flattering pose or facial expression. also, consider investing in a polarizer, it gives the sky a stronger blue.

i guess i should ease up on the saturation, my initial idea was to convey the energy and spirit from her dancing, and i thought the red dress reflects the burning energy quite well, but i guess i overdid it
