Hi,
This is a great capture of a great looking character. In the opinion of a very amateur snapper, I find the soft feeling and the title clash somewhat. The title suggests a careworn ruggedness. Also, and in my opinion, his face is a little in shadow (how you would change this while shooting is up to others to explain as my sponge is full.) With this in mind, and as always for practice, I did a quick edit and increased the contrast and sharpened a little. If you'd like me to take this down please tell me. Just one other thing, the background is a little busy, and that plant jars with me. I have hundreds of pictures of family and others with all sorts 'growing' out of their heads..lol

Thanks Dave, your input is good. I have actually edited and cropped the shot that I had printed, but just couldn't find it to put up on here. I did try taking shots of him with out the back ground, but it just didn't have the same impact. This also my first attempt at B & W. Thanks.
