Default Is it over exposed?

My friend recently had her picture taken by a professional photographer, and she decided to show them to me. This certain picture struck me as not very good. Being an amateur it just looked like her torso blended in with the background. Also it looked very over exposed. Is this a good picture, or does it some help? Could it be fixed, if it had any problems with it?

I quite like it.

It's hard to say whether it's a flub or whether it was intentionally processed that way without seeing it in the context of the portfolio or the photographers larger collection and style.

It's obviously been processed heavily, so without seeing the raw (or even better RAW) file, there's no way to know if it can be 'saved' ...again, I use that term loosely, as personally I wouldn't want to.

I don't want to be an ass, but you might want to rethink posting other people's images for critique. Unless you have permission from the rights holder, I would highly recommend against it. I also personally think it's bad taste. DPS usually only allows links to photos unless you own it.
