Hello Everyone,

I did an early morning shoot with these 2 this morning and really like this pic.

My question is if you think that them being off center is too distracting?

The younger of the two's back is really curved over so I cropped in a bit to cut down on the angle. I still enjoy the shot Im just not sure if its just me that it is bugging!

Thank You for any help you can give me!

Cheers!

its not the most comfortable pose i've ever seen, i'll say that. i feel like theyre scared if they sit up straight they'll hit their heads on something...

you might try boosting curves a little and lightening up the eyes.

I'm distracted by the lower girl's hair. I also agree that the pose looks odd but not for the reason Niresangwa gave. to me it looks the the girl on the left is trying to edge the other out of the frame. the composition is good (I wouldn't want them to be dead center) but the pose is not so great.

I like the spirit of the portrait and what you were trying to do. It's much the same what I've done with a couple of my own projects.

Having said that, I also agree with the comments on the poses. I have a model friend, and she notes that one of the easiest controllable and important things for a model is her neck. In this photo the ladies feel scrunched up. You could have had the same photo, but with them extending their next instead of bunching in on themselves and I think you'd see a big difference. Think long neck.. looooong. That's always flattering.

Otherwise, it's a nice casual modern portrait they should be happy with. And I like the color processing you did.

Let's see more next time!
