Default Not sure what to do..

Ok.. Here's the BIG question. I took this picture of my daughter at her softball game. It would have been amazing had I got her head in the picture. Grrrrr So I have been trying to see if there is any way to salvage this photo. I thought maybe I could some how add a head to it!?!? I'm not sure if that is even possible. I haven't done any post processing, this is the original. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I'd prob just try to do better next time unless you're gonna add a arm too.

Yeah, I'm not sure there's any way to 'save' it in the way you're speaking. Seeing as you have no experience with post processing, and probably don't have any other shots with here in a very similar instance, any work you would do to 'save' it would probably make it worse to be honest.

I actually think this is interesting... it's one of those 'detail' shots that sometimes really turn heads. Yeah, I get it's 'bad' for you because you can't see it's your daughter, but it's interesting to me.

Had you gotten the shot you wanted, I would have probably thought it boooring like the 1billion other shots of people's kids playing sports.

Also, ensure you shoot in a mode that allows you several consecutive shots so you get a better shot at it (after ensuring you actually get her fully in the frame).

Seeing as you were shooting at 235mm,, I assume it's something like a 18-250mm lens or something like that? Why were you so tight to begin with on this shot? Leave space around her the next time so you can crop for better effect.

Good luck!

I am drawn to the look of the picture as well. It seems to keep me coming back to look at it. I do have the camera set on sports mode and continuous shooting. Just didn't have the time to frame her in. Maybe next time. I had grabbed my camera and forgot i have my zoom lens on.. So when she was running from 3rd to home she only got closer. This picture was a.. raise the camera point and shoot.. all in a matter of seconds. I did not have time to adjust or anything else, just lucky to capture what I did. Thank you for all your input.
