Pure Joy

Took this in RAW so did a bit of noise reduction, sharpening, saturation, shapened the eyes, blur added to shelf and darkened shelf to get a less cluttered background.

General thoughts on the image. Do you think I should darken or clone out the things on the shelf completely? I feel like it is still a little cluttered but also feel that it adds to the whole standing on the threshold of indoor and outdoor thing going on.

His expression is priceless. It really makes me want to know what he's looking at.

I think you did a very nice job with the post-processing, but it's still a little cluttered behind him. The stuff on the shelf keeps pulling my eye away. Your indoor/outdoor threshold is, I think, most strongly maintained by the line of the garage where his toes are, so I don't think it will hurt the shot any to clone out the bottles entirely (and it will definitely help the clutter).

Hi RexK_Cozumel:
I would say it to clone it too. Darken it just will be more difficult to see where his hair ends and starts the background. So a little bit whiter background would be better too. Those are my thoughts. Great shot!
