Default too exposed?

This is a picture from my first photo shoot ever. I think it captures great catchlight in the eyes but is it over exposed? Or does it work to make the eyes pop? Any other suggestions welcome.

Yes, it is overexposed. You've blown out the whites and lost detail. Was the overexposure in camera or in post processing?

It was in post processing, Adobe Lightroom 2. I used a black and white preset. I like the concept but thought it could use some tweeking. Thanks.

Pull back on the contrast a bit and you'll be good to go. Cute portrait and the catchlights are really nice.

Please take a moment to get familiar with the guidelines and what information is needed to be added in posts in the critique section. Then please return and edit your post accordingly. Thank you so much for doing so. Holler if you need help
