This image was shot during the bridal prep of a recent wedding. Being a candid there was really no time to recompose the image to eliminate the background.
Is this background too distracting? The background is a set of sliding doors, leading onto a verandah. Your thoughts on how to improve the shot would be much appreciated. I agree, I like the background. I think it even adds a little bit, makes it look a bit more natural, as opposed to a plain white studio back ground. Plus, as everyone else has said, the baby is too cute to be looking at the background!

My eye still goes straight to the background, but I suppose it is because it is something that bothers me. Here is a desaturated version, does it work. I have also altered the contrast a little. ![]() Thanks again
