Hello,
I have been viewing this site for quite some time and love how helpful it has been. I recently bought myself a Nikon D5000 and I am trying to get used to it and become better with it. Reading alot of the articles on this site has been extremely helpful. I figured I might as well post a shot I took that I found interesting and see what everyone else thinks. Criticism and tips are much appreciated. I have a quick specific question also that may be able to be answered.I am having alot of trouble getting nice shots at night, they always come out extremely dark. EXIF info: Camera: Nikon D5000 F/5.6 1/125 sec ISO - 400 Did a little bit of editing in PS, mainly just messed with the levels and curves.

Welcome. I have the D5000 also; in regard to dark images, what mode are you using the camera in? How dark are we talking? in very dark conditions you are pretty much always going to need a tripod so you can slow the shutter speed way down.
