Default Past and the future

HI all....been a long time. Was quite busy with a lot of other things. Was going through my old photos and saw this and realised that I had not shared it here.

Used a bit of PP blurring the background and using focal b/w.Is this fine or shall i keep the original....anyway I should try to better the composition (if I get another chance) would also be helpful

Always keep the original. You may want to go back again and try something different.

I think you should choose between making this a color shot or a black and white shot. Both is too much and too distracting. The blur also makes things look more "muddy". A good shot doesn't need much processing, it can stand on its own.

Awesome! So much better! I know there might be others who would say it should be framed a little to the right, but this looks like a shot that you had moments to capture and I think you captured a shot that tells a great story. Beautiful.

got me there paul. I had taken a road trip on my bike and saw this old man sitting. I stopped my bike and was just focusing my cam on him when this kid came and stood in front...at first I was trying to move him out of the frame and then i saw this picture in my viewfinder and i just clicked it. Unluckily he got a scolding from his mom for posing for the camera and ran away before I could improve the shot. But still I thought the boy coming partially in the frame somehow adds to my composition as he represents the future and it is always partially unseen
