Wink FAMILY UNITED..My first Critique pic


Photography is a hobby I would like to make more use of... please let me know what needs to be altered, if it could have been done differently, how well did I do for a hobbist? this was shot with my Nikon D50 and using a tripod and remote.... this is also my first time ever posting on any kind of site besides facebook. any feed back is greatly appreciated

Very nice concept. But when its viewed in a larger size, it looks too soft and overprocessed.
Great shot though!

Great family portrait! But again a little too overdone with the after production for my liking. Having the red so intense makes the photo look "hot."

It appears too over exposed even with the massive amount of processing you put into this. Remember that if you have to process a picture that much to make it look ok there is a lot of basic stuff wrong in the first place. Practice, practicem practice...
