Smile Help me to improve!

Hi everyone, pls help me get better on this portrait. not sure should i photoshop to get rid of the line through her head at the background? does this bother anyone else here?

I think it is a great picture. She looks like she has so much to say. If it were me, the only thing I would do is crop, if you have enough resolution, and a slight sharpen.

I played with it a little. I added a soft light layer ( Thanks to SusanH), and I picked up a sharpening tip from Windrider, where you create two duplicate layers, then over-sharpen the middle layer. I used the settings of .8 pixels, and 150%. On the top layer you adjust the opacity to the desired level overall, then you can add a layer mask and paint in over the eyes and other areas that need to be sharpened even more. This is what I came up with.
Hope you don't mind. I will take it down if you wish. You really have a great photo to start with, which makes PP nothing to do.

Thank you guys for loving it, i like it a lot too!
And a big thank you to RLucas, I read every word of your post carefully, and played around myself, i like this sharpening tip a lot too! the original photo just looks so blur to the sharpen one! thanks for sharing with us! i don't mind you take it down at all!
