I posted this in the "Share Your Shots" section asking for critique before I realised that there was a special section for that...sorry!
Please critique...I know it came out overexposed, but I am kinda liking the effect in this particular shot (is that insane?)

Check out this wiki on hi-key images. I'd say yours would probably fall into that category. I do like the lighting on this. You may want to check your colors. My monitor isn't calibrated, but is usually pretty on and your image looks like it may have too much magenta in it. Easy enough to fix if that is the case. Great shot otherwise!

Thanks for your responses guys, I really do appreciate it.
KUlmer: You're right. There is a magenta tinge and it didn't occur to me till you mentioned it. zona5101: Totally understand where you're coming from. I don't usually go for overblown highlights either To be honest the reason why I liked this shot was because it was an "accident" shot that stood out more than my "deliberate" shots. i.e. its overblown is because I was adjusting my strobe lighting, and she's not looking at the camera is because she was preparing to get her picture taken! But the "deliberate" shots where she's looking at the camera, looking into space, has her body angled to the camera, etc just looked overdone to me and this looked natural. Definitely have a lot of improving to do...

Good stuff, I love the soft shadow on the wall behind her. The arm adjusting the strap is distracting it's a tad bit overexposed for me, but I really love the softness of the picture. Again, good stuff!
