Default Forever Young

Hello everyone! I'm new to photography, so lucky to find this forum, coz everyone here seems so enthusiastic and helpful! I'm thinking about put this photo to the monthly competition of my camera club, pls give me some comments and suggestions, i want to make it better before i entre it (if i can). Appreciated!!!!

Focal Length: 64 mm

Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

Maybe you should check your link or review your post, because there is no image embedeed nor attached.

i know Rehesan, it's so frustrated! i can't see it neither! should i choose insert image or insert link?, the photo is on my flickr site!

Hii, this is my oppinion, I think it is better you crop the bottom part, like water bottle, robes, newspaper as when I see it the first glance, that distract me from main objects, which are the two kids

Hi Lavitz, thank you for your suggestion!
i thought of that as well for the same reason, but then i thought the stuff in front might help the depth of field and help telling the story more... and make it more look like real life shot?

But i do concern that's too much, will distract the main objects, so i copped it a little bit, will this be better? Thanks!!

I really like the photo however it would have been nicer (IMHO) if the kiddies were more in focus as compared to the foreground. The closer crop fixes this to some extent however I agree that you lose alot of the context in doing so.

In my opinion, the picture is better.. it is better to keep it simple and meaningful, just my one cent oppinion

IMHO, I would cropped the image in order to let out the water bottle only, I think you did a good job using the negative space in the original shot, I would left the whole horizon-sky portion of the photograph, and cropp on the left side to take away the water bottle, I agreed the other elements (bait box, bucket, rope, etc.) are part or the story you are telling with your photo.
