Default bubby girl


Well, first day with the new camera. What better subject than my youngest?

Shot indoors / no flash - near window. Little bit of dodge and burn around the eyes other than that - photo is as per shot. All critiques welcome

I'm not an expert, but I love this shot....her eyes are the most important thing and they are in focus...I love the composition and the DOF. I think it's really well done.

Well, you have a darling subject. You got great eye contact, and an interesting expression. My only critique is that it is a bit underexposed, and a bit more light in the eyes would have been nice. I love nice catch lights and strive for it in all of my close up portrait work. Great shot otherwise, and beautiful little girl
