Lovely picture, lovely baby and lovely blue eyes.
You are way off with you're white-balance. Do you shoot in RAW? Because that's the easiest way to control you're white balance afterwards.

I agree. Way too warm. Hopefully you shot RAW and can correct it? Cute shot though.

The baby is completely orange! Looks like to get the eyes to pop you over saturated it. That's not the way to get eyes to pop. Go back to your original and try again. Don't give up, just do a little reading to hone your edit skills.

I think that the background is a little busy. Especially that the two shirts(?) have distinct patterns. If they had been solid it might not have bothered me as much.

Wow - way too saturated. Orange skin is the give away. Tone it down and it will immediately be better.
