Default Eight Months Old

This is a picture of my eight-month-old. I'm trying to get more practice with portraiture, but it's difficult with the camera I have. I really like this one because of her expression-- I stuck her next to a window so I could get some contrasting shadows. But I'm wondering about the composition-- is it distracting to have her so far right? Thanks.

I think her position is great; I like to have my subjects looking into empty space. But I am new to photography and not an expert by any means. I would either crop or clone out the bright spot in the upper right hand corner.

Beautiful baby. I think your positioning is fine.

I love this composition...you could even crop out more off the top and still have a good portrait. Nice work.
