Default Portrait: Critique

Here are some of my tries. i have been learning a lot from here, but your honest comments would help me more. Please help me in inproving my shots. Thanks.

neat shot...my critique would be the skin looks splotchy in areas. possibly blown out highlights from postprocessing. if you look at the picture from a different angle like lowering your head and looking up you can see the blown out spots more. i have found that when on screen that kinda thing may not be that noticeable but you will notice it more when printed. maybe just back off on the post processing before the highlights get blown and then do some noise reduction to smooth the skin tone possibly...

I see a little blown out highlights as well as mentioned above and noise, but other than that great focus on the eyes along with composition. The skin blotches are natural on the skin I suppose? Other than that, it's not a bad photo
