Default Expression of a boy

Hi all, I really love portraiture, and I wonder what you think of this one? I am USELESS at post production so I have only enhanced the saturation here so I wonder if there is other editing that would improve the picture?
Thanks!

This makes me super happy despite the fact that I am in the middle of my finals week haha. I love it! I wish it didn't cut off so soon at the bottom though.

Thanks for your comments - I used a Canon 350D, f1.8, 1/60 with a speedlight flash reflecting off the ceiling. It was obviously a quick 'catch it while you can' photo so it was certainly very tight in the frame.

I love it - love the use of wide aperture which really brought out his eyes and adorable expression. Nice work!

Great capture of expression! I would fix the white balance, he looks quite orange and I am on a calibrated monitor. The crop is tight but sometimes you have to get the shot when they're making the face. I'd just fix the white balance for his skin tone and that's the only thing I would change.

Here is a quick example. I used the dropper tool in PSE6. This is probably actually a little too cool, but it's a small file to be fine-tuning.

GREAT edit. Skin tones are excellent! Maybe a touch cool as you mentioned, but much better.

Yes love the edit - the skin colour is much better! Thanks - I honestly have no idea about getting the results in post production... so I really appreciate it!
