Hi all,
This picture was taken during an event in an urban poor area in Cebu City, the Philippines. So there are always many people around and not always a nice quite background. I was happy to see this girl standing in front of blue wall, wearing a blue top. At home, I decided to convert to black and white and I am happy with the result. Still, there is something nagging me with the picture, but I cant put my finger on it. Should I have placed her whole hair in the picture? What do you think? Your crop is fine for this photo. What is getting me is the lack of light on her right side. If you could lift the shadows on that side a little bit, I think it would make a better photo.

Thanks. I will give it try, allthough I am not so familiar with photoshop and all. I think the light is due to the fact that I only had natural light coming from her back and since I was taking candid pictures (well, with her more or less, since she was very much aware
, I didn't want to use a flash.Ubo |
