Default My first DSLR shots

This was taken with my new Canon Rebel xsi, kit lens. I'm still in the learning process, so any critique/praise is welcome. This is my daughter in a graveyard. We found a shady spot on a bright sunny day.

Hiya Chris!

I grabbed your EXIF for you from the Flickr page:

Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/6.3
Focal Length: 55 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Flash: On, Fired

She looks a touch cool, the image could stand to be warmed up a bit. Watch your posing and composition - her arm looks a little funny the way it's cut off. Unfortunately pop up flash isn't the most flattering light - you're better off using something for reflection. Pick up a piece of white foam board from Walmart or a craft store to use for now.

Excellent job of not getting glare on her glasses!

Darn tootin' Chris. We'll get together. But you have a great eye, you will be amazing.
