Default First try at silhouette Photography

Managed to convince mom and dad to do this for me! Luck!
Camera: Canon SX200 IS
1/250s

What exactly do yo want a critique on?

The silhouetted bit at the bottom in the middle that isn't them is distracting.

I would have moved the couple closer together and maybe cropped out that bottom stuff as it is kind of distracting. However, I do think that the silhouette turned out nicely.

I agree. You should move them closer together. But I DO love the colors of the sky and the crispness of the black in the image. Nice work!

I do agree with the comments about moving them together, and getting rid of that extra middle stuff.

I can't tell for sure, but it seems to be as though you shot from a slightly lower angle? The camera seems to be looking 'up' and I find that a tad awkward. But that's my two cents :-)

agree about the bottom stuff, but the height difference may make cropping very hard. keep trying though, it's a beautiful picture! hope you get another sunset like that one!
