Default Cropping question

This is a photo from a family shoot I did this past weekend. They are brothers. Was wondering if the crop was OK...I know that chopping limbs is not good but was wondering if it was OK here? Thanks for any help!

Is this an in-camera crop or did you crop in post?

For the most part the crop is OK, but I'm not sure if the hand of brother left on the knee of brother right works for me...if you didn't know they were brothers it might make you wonder a bit. I think placement of his hand on his own knee would have looked better

It is cropped but the SOOC is cropped at their shins. What if I crop it closer to avoid the hand on the knee by the older brother?

I'd actually like to see the SOOC if you don't mind posting it. I prefer the first crop to the 2nd, closer one. Though I do kinda agree with Vinnie about the hand on the knee thing, LOL.

I like the SOOC best.

Seeing as they are brothers and this will most likely only be displayed in their home(s), the hand on the knee doesn't really bother me - they know they're brothers, and so do their family and friends.

Nice job.

Thanks Susan! I feel better...I was beginning to think I ruined it! They are a very tight knit family so honestly when I took it, I noticed it but it didn't bother me since I know them. But when it was pointed out here, I was worried! Thanks for taking the time to post!
