Talking 3-D Glasses Experimentation

I borrowed Coraline from a friend and it came with 3-D glasses. Before we actually watched the movie my room mate and her younger sister were wearing their glasses. I decided it would be fun to use mine as a sort of filter and this is one that I thought came out cool. I think the 3-D glasses gave it a bit of a film feel. What do you think? Is the color too much? Should I bring out more of their facial features?

Editing:
- Curve adjustments
- Shadows adjustments
- High pass filter for definition/contrast
- Colored in some white parts in the frame on the right

EXIF info:
Camera: Canon EOS Rebel t1i
Shutter: 1/200
Aperture: 3.5/f
ISO: 100
Flash: On

I think it is great just the way it is! Excellent capture of this event you all shared.
From a critique standpoint, what's to fix? Its really not a portrait in the traditional sense, it's snapshot of a moment in time.
