Try working with full color. Selectiving coloring tends to not have a good effect on images.

Welcome! Very nice first post! This is really a fine image. Generally I am not a fan of selective coloring, but looking at a large version of this image it seems to unexplictedly work (for me) Maybe the coloring draws my eye to dandilions...mirroring what the little girls seems to be doing. Maybe thats the connection...we are both looking at the same thing...
