Default First hour in the morning with my 2yr old girl

Okay, so I just got my first DSLR and I took it for a spin at 7 am documenting my daughters first hour or so of the day.

The first few pictures didn't have very much light, and I didn't want to use a flash. Maybe you guys know a better way to get good color in the early morning sun without a flash.

I can't see the image. Remember to put you EXIF data along with the photo.
