Default "Admiration"...Editing Help Needed

IMG_2378

only one image....my daughter admiring the birthday girl (10 months older).
HELP! I need advice on how to edit them post production.
What would you do to them to make them unique to be used as a gift to the bday girl and her mother?
How should I edit these in photoshop?

The idea is adorable. But the execution needs some tweeking. Notice all the clutter in the mirror from the background and the little bit of molding that is showing behind the little one standing? ? I'm also not convinced that the crop is doing this justice. I'd like to see the whole body. Perhaps a portrait crop might work better.

Landscape crop is where the crop is more horizontal and portrait is vertical

I wouldn't do anything to these images but print them. Look, neither of these is a phtographic masterpiece, but they weren't intended for that. They are adorable images of two little girls being themselves. This is not the time for pedantic puffery; it's a time for making a friend exceedingly happy by printing and framing these two images. You'll have plenty of time to do even better next year, and trust me, sixteen will be here before you know it.

Thank you, LeeR...I love these images, too. Maybe I'll do a few quick touch ups...but printing and framing will be right around the corner (as I know sixteen will be as well)...
