Wow! This is quite well done. EXCELLENT white balance, focus, composition, expression and exposure. There are several things that I find distracting though. The bright spot of sunshine on her neck and her right sleeve, the bright skin on her left arm and the fact that she is wearing her glasses. I would have asked her to remove them totally as they do nothing to enhance the image and IMHO detract from it. Other than the glasses all of the above could be fixed in Photoshop and if you do it I would also clone out the bright sun spots on the background.

Thanks Benji, have some other's of Emma and would like your C&C on them, Will try and get them up later. I left the sun spots in so people see that there are times we get sun in Scotland, HA HA.

Thanks Again.

George.

George,

Great shot mate. And duly noted that it is sometimes sunny in Scotland!

Only tips I could add (and I am very much an amateur myself) is that I think the photo could do with a smidge more "pop" in terms of seperation from the model and the background, and sense of depth.

Did you have any sort of rim/hair light? It looks like she's prob in the shade and then lit key and fill from the front? A strobe back onto her hair at +2 stops from the key would "pop" the image a bit more.

You could try and seperate her in post prod by playing with the contrast and brightness on both the background plane and the models plane.

Only other comment is that I think the colours look a smidge undersaturated. I'd prefer a slightly richer and/or warmer tone. Only slightly though and this is personal taste.

I like the doppled light on the woodland background.

Great shot George. Hope to see more soon and welcome to DPS.

Firstly, two great shots of your model again. Esp the first one. Very nice shot and very provocative look from an attractive girl.

On the first one, my comments would be as follows. I think it's excellently shot, but I would consider a tighter crop. The log in the bottom left is distracting, the rock texture is a bit too and some of the stuff in the background is a bit untidy/unattractive. Also, it often makes shots look more interesting if the model is off to one side, on a third line for instance.

I personally would again also "pop" the girl a bit more by playing with the background contrast and brightness, against that of her skin tones and hair.

I had a quick go.... hope you don't mind. It still isn't right but gives you the idea.

I am not quite as bigger fan of the 2nd shot as I dont think it flatters your model that much, makes her look broader than she is due to the pose. Maybe a wider crop would help, showing more of her body.

Also, shooting in that brighter sunshine is always going to be tough. Better to go into the shade or to get the sun coming from behind then cross light or fill with flash. The sun also makes it hard to tell what the background is, which is a river. Shame, coz this would probably look awesome at about 5am!

Final comment would be on both her eyes seem a bit super white to me... Is that post prod or does she just have the worlds whitest eyes? Skin tones and treatment are great though.

Please bear in mind George that I am not exactly an expert on this stuff, so if you wish to ignore my suggestion and/or another more experienced DPS member gives you contradictory advice, then no offence will be taken!

Good shooting.

I completely agree with the above (although I am no "expert" either but at least maybe 2 non-expert opinions are better than one, haha). I liked the first of your 2nd group, but thought she was too dead-center. Also, her foot up distracts me...I get that you want her to look a little sultry and it is okay that her leg is up, but maybe if it was propped up on something instead of just hanging there? In the second one, there are sun spots on her face and the way she is laying makes a weird bright spot on her shirt, making her bra looked bumpy or something.

I love the very first one, I think it is flawless. I didn't even notice the bright spots until Benji mentioned them, but he IS an expert and always has good tips. I would love to see more!
