Default Not your average portrait

Camera: Nikon D300
Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80)
Aperture: f/4.5
Focal Length: 70 mm
ISO Speed: 640
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: No Flash

So I am not sure if I should do something else with this. I love this picture, but not sure if it is something other people would like. I would love to just hear some ideas I could do to make it better.

Thanks!

I like the composition but the highlights are blown.

beautiful, intense... nice angle... the background is a bit distracting though.

Its a very nice photo. the iso, is that 640 or 6400? because thats very bright, considering that the shutter speed is 1/80 and the aperture is not that open at 4.5. The blown hilights dont bother me. and looking at the catchlights as well as the lights on the subjects, i thought that you used like maybe 2 light sources. the background isnt very interesting though, but i think the bokeh produced by f4.5 at 70mm helps. i love it.

hmmm i would experiment with the colour balance and add a little bit of yellow light on all hilight, shadow and midtone to make it look like morning or sunset light, maybe that would give a different kind of mood. but in order to do that maybe the hilights need to be lessened in order not to overexpose the face. but if you like it this way, its also nice

I like it. I like how you've taken the skin tone right to eadge without blowing them out. Gives it a bit of a timeless feel.

Background is a bit distracting. Easily fixed in Photoshop or Corel.

Angle is good. Eyes are perfect. Well done.

Now do it again.
