my daughter and her cousin stopping to pick flowers during the easter egg hunt. Is it too much processing?

Yes I think so. The selective coloring in this puts the attention on their clothes and that little house, not on them. I would stick to either all b&w or all color.

well they seem to blend too much into the background when in color or bw...hmmm...just trying to get them to pop a little. but i think it is too much probably too. i'll try a couple of others things...thanks for your input

I think it still looks over-processed. Would you mind posting the original? It can take a while to get right, but you could convert to B&W and dodge the background or mask it and apply a blur to reduce its impact on the picture.

Default the original unedited photo

the problem is all the colors are so vibrant and it seems to make the kids not stand out?

The color one is miles better. You can blur the background to make it less noticeable.

Default color version better ?

okay i touched it up and just brightened the colors around the kids felt like they look oversaturated when i tried to do the whole picture. so I slightly blured the background and slected the kids and just saturated and darkened everything else....is this better?

I get so caught up in all the photo-brush options it's hard not to find ways you can use them lol...i know tale tale sign of a beginner . But I felt this image could withstand something neat done to it. however it does look but just color
