Default Portrait/ Silhouette Of My Daughter

This Portrait was taken of my dauther at a local park...We arrived around 6:00pm and I took various photographs of her posing, a few candid shots, and then we did a few Silhouette's!....She is seated next to a water fountain. The water is trickling down just behind her...I positioned myself so that the sun was directly behind her. I metered for the ambient light, then took a few shots....This was the end result!.......I apologize if the image is turned sideways....I've tried rotating the image within my software, saving it, over and over again!.....Any ideas how to correct it?.......

try saving as a copy and see if that does it. or you can upload and rotate it in flicker.

I think it looks really cool. the only thing that bugs me is the outline around her nose.

The outline around her nose bugs me as well. Almost looks like an editing mistake. I also wish she was more in focus. I'm not really sure where the focus is in this shot. Her shirt?

Looks like the focus fell on her shoulder, where the crease is in her shirt.
personally im not a fan of the picture. It kinda hurts my eyes. maybe if you could somehow tone down the gold, not completely because that's what makes it cool, but enough that its not overpowering.

You could also crop some of the top off, maybe that would make the brightness less distracting.

Thanks for the comments!..I'm a Supreme Novice so I was just trying some different types of shots!....I did no editing to the image, and will try to tone down the tone of the gold..Hopefully that will improve the image?....Now it's back to the drawing board to improve my skills...Thanks!

using zoom browser/ DPP can rotate it. Anyway,. love the bokeh and color tones.. great portrait. the backlights highlighted her nicely.

With the zoom Browzer, the image is in the portrait position...When I attempt to upload it to DPS, it puts in in landscape!...I think the older I get, the less I know about computers? Also, I like the fact that some of you are so critical...It forces me to focus more!.....So, thanks!
