Nursing Mom

I took this pic for a good friend and I love it. I want to hear what everyone else thinks! How is the composition, the color, the focus? Anything I should have done differently? It was taken with a Canon XSI using a Canon EF28-135 f/3.5-5.6 lens at ISO200 f5.6 1/250. I converted it to Black and White in Aperture. Thanks in advance for your input!!

I think it is nice, I would not have cropped it so close maybe, but the lighting is nice and it is a sweet moment.

A better angle, might have been on the left so as to get the babys face..

Thanks for the input! I wanted a discreet angle that conveyed the nursing baby but did not expose the mother. This was my first post and I am glad to get feedback. I am exctied to find a site that can help me become a better photographer!

I would have picked a different angle too. Breastfeeding is such a beautiful and natural way of giving a baby it's lunch!

I love the black and white and the image is really clear... but it's just the top of a baby's head, if you know what I mean. I think there's probably a little room to manoeuvre there - making the activity in the image more obvious, while respecting the feelings of the mum.
