Maybe it's the compression but it looks out of focus

I do like the shot, and her eyes are beautiful...

I agree that it seems a bit soft, but, i think that it doesnt hinder this.
i like the DOF on this and the overall comp

I'm just guessing, but did you blur the photo and then place a layer on top with partial opacity during post production?

If you did, it does look good, but maybe the eyes shouldn't be blurred, you should always try to make them the focal point in the image.

Apart from that, I simply love it. It actually made me turn my head to see it better =P
