Default First infant pictures

To get some experience I posted an ad saying I would do free photo shoots and did about 5, including a family that included this 3 month old, Olivia. I learned a lot, especially when I got home and took a look at my shots close up. I should have noticed that little flake on her forehead and will remove it in gimp or CS4. Lay on the criticism.

First criticism...you are supposed to ask a specific questions on what you'd like critiqued

I think it could use more contrast overall. Also, I think I would have liked to see the baby's right ear, or less of his/her right cheek. As it stands, it is somewhat of an unflattering crop. On the whole, though, I like the composition and colors.

I shot the infant initially landscape but it looked weird. Sorry.

Here is the mother and 2 daughters. I liked this one the best, but may have been too close because I had a hard time getting sharp pictures of the childrens face, but the Mother's face always came out sharper.

Same EXIF

In almost all my shots, the toddler's denim shirt came out sharper than her face. Any hints?
