I really liked this crop, but I think the eyes may have been OOF a bit more than I realized before the crop.....so, do you think they are too OOF and did I sharpen too much to try to fix it? Any other critique is welcome as well....

Camera: Nikon D5000
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/2.5
Focal Length: 35 mm
ISO Speed: 250

This one MAY be slightly better.....I just sharpened the eyes...nothing else.

...they don't look OOF to me...maybe the original viewed at 100% might be, but most viewers will not be doing, or seeing that. I don't think you'd have any problem with this if it were to be printed to 4x6, 5x7, or even 8x10

I adore this photo and I am not seeing any noticeable blur in the eyes! Absolutely love the expression! I like the second crop!

yes they look fine, not too overdone and not too soft. I like the crop as well

Focus looks fine and I love the composition of the second one! My only nitpick is the pinlights in the eyes and the harsh shadow ...otherwise I think it's adorable.
