Too much shadow?

Does this picture have too much shadow? It was taken with natural light, is it too dark? I hope this is all the info needed! TIA

ISO: 200
APT: 4.0
SS: 1/125
No flash, just window light




Attached is a copy of a different crop of the photo.. I thought the portrait crop was better, but would like a few opinions of that also! Thanks!

I love the composition, and the kiss speaks volumes.

The shadows do seem to be a little dark. I am new so I can't tell you if it can be post processed to make it better. Someone else will need to tell you that =)

definitely the portrait crop! can't say much about the lighting...maybe slightly dark but looks nice and natural to me

Thanks for replying! I didn't use flash or anything, just set up near the window. I am on the fence on if I like it that dark or not... But I think that made it that dark pp, Im working on it to see what it will look like lighter and will post when I finish.

I love the shadows and definitely prefer the portrait crop. I think just a slight lightening will make this portrait much better. Lovely image!
