Default Life is still

I had posted the ortonized version of this image and didnt get a very good feedback. Here's the original.

Exif info
Focal length 77.2mm
Shutterspeed 1/2000s
Aperture f/4.5
Iso 100
Camera Sony DSC H7

I usually like taking still life,(Not quite good with people photography). Here my subject was the actually the bullock cart. Then i saw this man approaching.I just thought will try to add him in the frame. What do you think was it good to add him or the pic would've been better without him only the bullock cart.Any other points regarding composition also welcome.

i like having the man in the scene.....he's definitely of interest with his garb...and he manages to give a sense of place and purpose to the cart....

I find my eye wandering to the empty space on the right, have you experimented with crops?

I cropped the photo and skew the cart's wheels to create a feeling of balance. Both the trees and the cart wheels also served as 'frames' in the image.
