Default My boy with some post processing

This is my first submission for any photo and wanted a general critque on the processing and the picture itself. Thanks in advance!

Hey,

I really like this shot, i would have also liked to see the color version. My only critique would be to darken the background a bit. Its lighter than the subject and a bit distracting. Thats just my opinion though, its still a great shot!

Overall, I really like the shot and composition. I like that the background is lighter than the subject. The contrast differfence helps your son stand out. However, the slight motion blur in conjunction with the angles caused by the building's architecture is slightly distracting. Possibly dragging shutter longer to create a stronger motion blur could have helped. I think this would have added to the sense of being on a carousel. Also, using a larger aperture to create stronger background blur could have helped as well.



This is a very small criticism however. Overall, its a great shot! He looks like he's having a fun time.

I really like this photo. I like the motion blur in the back, and he's an adorable little man. I am not sure however if I like the sepia tone.
