Default kids on streets,for your critiques

I love it - gritty and real and dirty. The kids are a little out of focus but in this context maybe it doesn't matter a lot? I think the colours and tones are great - subdued and there and they are framed nicely by the dirty walls on either side. I reckon it's great.

I think this is fab. I agree with the focus comment by Kate1 and I would also describe it as "post-prod-heavy", as in you can tell it's had a lot of post-prod done on it. But there's nothing wrong with that, and I think it's a fabulous shot. Well done.

Oh, one more thing. I think I would have a play around with the composition - the kids are slap bang in the middle at the moment and perhaps would look better slightly to one side or the other?

hmm... I am guessing there was a lot of PP done. I think, you might have overdone it. When I look at "soft" portraits, I usually associate them with "glamour" shots. In your photo, it is quite contradicting/contrasting to the "dirty" background.. of course, unless you were going to that, IMHO.
