Default The Cowgirl

This is a edited photo of two pics of me I need critism badly please I think its good and the background but I need others to help me decide is the backgroun too much how about the edges?? any and all help is apprieciated

The background is too much. It isnt complimenting the image at all. Try a more subdued background that wont dominate the image.
also, when doing something like this, unless you want lines across the faces try and make sure you have everything masked off.
Very nice idea tho, I see a lot of potential

what do you mean masked off? I have no idea about how to use layers and stuff I have read articles and blogs I use gimp but i dont understand it all i did here was clone the pics onto a black background what are some other ideas for the background?

I think it's important to know what the destiation is for the photo... this takes so much focus away from the subject (you) that I'm not sure it's the right direction, unless you're going for a specific creative look for a CD cover or something.
