Default Lost in the crowd

Hello.

I'm not particularly sure if this image will be in the category of portrait, but anyway, I'm sharing this picture. Here's the link to the image: Lost? - People & Portrait Photos - Freeze the moment

I think this is one of the good images I have. I haven't done any post-processing on it and I could proud to say that it was a good composition.

What do you think?

I like it, although I would have cropped more off the left, and just a little off the right to focus more on your main subject. Also they look just a little blurry, the black coat on the left seems to be where your camera focused. I really like the colors and the story the photo tells however, and it makes me care about the little girl who was lost and feel good about the woman who stopped to help.

IMO.composition, i like it.. the scene looks natural and sometimes the blurr works. It's as if you were behind the guy with the bag and Oh..! suddenly spotted that scene and was surprised. It takes the view from left to right....

i like the composition in this one. i would add some dark vignette over some of the other people to give the woman and girl more light. the lady in the brown coat is a bit distracting! colours are beautiful

I like the idea, but composition-wise I think it would have been better had you gotten down to their level instead of shooting from above. Also watch for foot chops. Hope this helps!

i quite like the composition but think that the image would beneift left-cropping. it is a little disappointing that the subject is not in sharp focus (the focus appears to be nearer to you as seen by the sharper jacket on the left). I also agree that it would have been more powerful from the same level, ie you crouching/kneeling down.

Thanks for the comments!

I received same comment as SusanH1970 from a friend in photography too. I would agree that I should have go down to their level.

With regards to the focus, I think it was my fault too. I spotted the scene and forgot to change the focus and just snap it away.

I never thought of the cropping so thanks for that.
