Default Brown eyes, too sharpened?

I tried a different sharpening technique, and wonder if I may be overdid it. Thanks for taking the time to look!

this is a beautiful shot. good composition and colors. the eyes are not over sharpened but lacks sparkle. maybe pp by adding a catch light in the eyes. or select the black of the eyes and lighten a bit to show details and color.

Love the composition and colors. I agree with the other posters about the eyes, to make them pop a bit more.

I think this works very well with the hood to frame the face. I have to agree with the others a bit more shine would have gone wonders.

Default Thank you`

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I did lighten the eyes a little, they're quite dark, so in order to not lose all detail, I have too.

I may try to lighten the reflection of the sky a bit (in her eyes). I don't like actually adding them in pp, prefer to work with what's there.

I think the eyelashes are sharpened a bit too much. I would just only sharpen the actual eye for this one. It's a gorgeous shot though!!!!

I think there are some nice reflections in the eyes already. What I would suggest is bosting the existing higlights.

I'm not that good at this but I think the dodge tool would work well. Or copy the eyes to a new layer. Increase the contrast and use lighten as the blend mode.

Yes, dodge the highlights that are already there and it will be perfect!

I think I would be temtped to take out the horizontal reflection that is present in both eyes. Then replace with a catchlight.

Great shot though, great composition. Do not think eyes are over sharp.
