Default b/w conversion

Hi there it's been a while, so i thought i might post an image i'm having a lil trouble converting to b/w.... well i'm never so great at it to be honest anyway do you think it is too grey? I have played quite a bit in ps but just don't think I have it right. Also this is a closer crop than the original do you think it is too close? Any other cc would be great thanks,

Baby Logan

I like this. I'm a huge fan of BW. I am up in the air on if I think the baby's back is too hot...? Maybe a tad.... Also, I would smooth out the skin where he is shedding..

What is bothering me with this photo is what looks to be the baby's left arm. I think the crop works. The scaling skin works fine in a newborn photograph and is more a personal style whether you remove or let it stay. I'll re-visit this photo when I am on my home computer to see the conversion.

ETA: I've now viewed it on my home pc and I think the conversion looks good.

Thanks so much for your feedback guys, I still feel as tho somethings a bit out, but I'm glad to hear u think the conversion is ok.......this guys skin was really peeling all over his hands and up his arms and had flakes here and there everywhere, I did make a conscious decision to leave his hands and just tidy up his face tho. Thanks again for the comments.
