Default point of focus

I had posted this photo on flickr just to show my friends but i had someone critique it saying there was no point of focus and the softness didnt make it any better...can you give me some advice on what to do with it or next time.
Previously i had put a frosted matte around it which i dont like so i added a black vignette.

Camera: Olympus C3100Z,C3020Z
Exposure: 0.033 sec (1/30)

I think he meant the focus is "off". It should be on her eyes, it appears to be on her hair in front.
The vignette is very heavy and large, not well done. I think that is what was meant by "softening doesn't help".
I don't think that particular "helpful visitor" was very good at communicating....

To improve it, use spot focus and focus on her eyes and leave out the vignette, or at least reduce it a lot.

Oh, and read the critique forum rules so your posts don't get pulled...
